Clubbing en Belgrado

Belgrado es mucho más famoso por sus cafés que por los clubs, pero parece que ese cuadro podría cambiar en poco tiempo. Mayoría de los clubs no requiere unas formas de vestir muy estrictas, te dejarían entrar, si fueras desnudo. Precios de las entradas varían del cero a los 5 euros, de vez en cuando ya más si pone música algún DJ más o menos famoso o toca algún grupo. En general, las chicas entran gratis, mientras que los chicos tienen que pagar la entrada regular. Descripciones de los clubs son las más objetivas que pueden ser – es decir, muy pocas o ningunas.

ANA 4 PISHTOLJA
On the site of former club “Lagum”, that used to play all sorts of rock and pop, comes a new club called “Ana 4 pištolja” (“Ana Four Guns”). It’s apparantly the same crew who owns and runs the tiny cool cafe with the same name in Kosovska street 35. New club is pretty darn big, with cool cave-like enterior and one of the most interesting gardens in the city, so it’s bound to be good also during the summer. Until then, various gigs and theme nights are planned, to keep you warm all winter with rock gigs, hip hop and drum and bass nights. The only thing it lacks is ventilation, so be prepared to smell of cigarette smoke three days after.

AKADEMIJA

Buena vieja Academia es un culto de los tempranos ’80. Uno de los pocos lugares que hoy en día no se inclina por lo comercial. Fundado como el club para los estudiantes de la Universidad de Artes, la clientela siempre tiene ese encanto particular y bien sabe como divertirse. Entrada es gratis o muy barata en general. Programa de Akademija e Internet: www.akademija.net. Nosotros recomendamos los jueves y los sábados.

ANDERGRAUND
Dirección: Pariska 1a (en la calle opusta de Embajada de Suecia)
Es uno de los primeros clubs en Belgrado con un ambiente más urbano. Hoy, es posible ver los restos de ese espíritu, aunque un número de clubs más recientes ha tomado ese papel. Andergraund sobre todo pone la música house y todas sus variaciones. Los viernes DJs ponen hip-hop, y algunos días electro y techno discos en sus platos. Las entradas usualmente son entre 2 y 4 euros, claro las chicas algunas veces entran gratis. Pincha el sitio de web de Andergraund para más detalle.

BEGGAR’S BANQUET

Como el nombre mismo sugiere, el enterior del club es como si te encontraras en un Rollingstones santuario. La música que se pone en el club principalmente está de acuerdo con el enterior, con unas cuantas excepciones, cuando también puedes oír el disco, pop y algunos otros géneros. Sobre todo la gente mayor, a menudo música live y las bebidas justamente baratas te garantizan que lo pasarás bien.

KST
Dirección: Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra 73
Uno de los últimos lugares de la ciudad tratando mantener ese epíritu rebelde del rock, metal y punk. Gótica, dark, industrial, trash, hard y todos los restos tipos de música no apropiada de bodas se mezcla en en las listas de canciones, noche por noche en este viejo club, originalmente hecho con intención para reunir los estudiantes de la cercana Facultad de Técnica. La gente consiste de las generaciones jóvenes, con algunas excepciones perdidas en el tiempo y el espacio. Precios de las bebidas son de las más baratas de toda la ciudad, pero igualmente son de pobre selección, consistente en su mayor parte de cervezas.

PLASTIC
Dirección: Takovska 34, en la esquina con Dalmatinska
Antiguamente conocido bajo el nombre de Mondo, es todavía uno de muy pocos clubs en Belgrado, donde es normal esperar en la cola antes de que manejas apretarte dentro. Ambiente es muy caliente y mono, precios de bebidas altos, gente joven bajo la influencia de…...............música. Trance, techno, tech-house, drum ‘n’ bass y todo lo demás que excluye guitarras y verdaderos instrumentos.

SOUND
Dirección: Savski kej bb
Uno de los más populares raft-clubs en Belgrado, abierto sólo en verano. Frecuentemente en peligro de hundir, por el hecho de que es atestado. Asegurate que puedes nadar bien. Si la seguridad no te deja entrar, chequea uno de los rafts por la derecha: Freestyler o Exile. La música en los tres es justamente similar, y las bebidas son igualmente de caras. Los DJs de Sound principalmente ponen house, Freestyler r’n’b y Exile pone d’n’b y tech-house, pero cambia del programa una noche por otra. Estos tres rafts son los más populares en temporada estival, así que, si estás en Belgrado en aquel tiempo, visitarlos es lo que tienes que hacer.

STEFAN BROWN
This place has probably one of the hippest and most attractive locations in the city. At the corner of Balkanska and Nemanjina street, high above at the ninth floor of a lonely building, big crowd is dancing and drinking until the early hours. Music choice – house, tech house and all the variations of house, drink prices bit higher, but the selection is also extremely good, and barmen friendly. When the atmosphere reaches boiling point, you’ll find it difficult to enjoy the view because the glass walls of the club get all wet. The only thing that spoils this cool place is very unfriendly neandertals at the entrance posing as bouncers. Arm yourself with patience and act like your not from around here and you’re not going to have any problems getting in. Entrance fee is most often zero dinars.
Nemanjina 4

MAMOLO
Very small and cool club in a basement at the beggining of Ruzveltova street. Dance floor becomes very crowded very fast, so if you manage to squeeze your way out of it, you can rest on the othe side of the wall dividing the basement. Drink prices moderate, and the crowd that comes here is leaning towards the artistic kind. Notice how the waiters are very small and skinny girls, probably so they can drill their way through the crowd easily. It happens quite often that you have to wait to get in, but have some patience – it’s definately worth it. Usually free entrance.
Ruzveltova 13

BALTAZAR BAR
This club is located near Anderground, in Karadjordjeva street around the corner. It’s a more less typical dance club, with techno, house and disco beats. Lots of rooms with somewhat different atmospheres and purpose, for your chillout and dancing pleasure. In lack of dance floor, help your self with a table, bar or a chair, and dance away. Somehow girls tend to do this more often than guys. Typical club drink prices, that means in the higher end – for Belgrade this translates like two euros for a glass of local beer, 4 euros for a scotch. Entrance is usually free.
